Seasonal Overnight Kennel Technician
Union Dale, PA
Hours: 8:00 PM – 6:00 AM | Four 10-hour shifts

Pay: From $17.00–$18.00 per hour
- Seasonal Attendance Bonus: Earn an additional $1/hr for every hour worked Memorial Day–Labor Day when maintaining excellent attendance

At Eva’s Play Pups, our overnight team is trusted to care for our guests, maintain the facility, and keep everything running smoothly while the world sleeps. This is a high-autonomy, high-responsibility role ideal for someone who prefers working independently and takes pride in being dependable in a fast paced role.

What You’ll Do
- Provide attentive care to overnight canine guests
- Monitor dogs’ health, behavior, and comfort throughout the night
- Prep and serve meals, administer oral and topical medications
- Perform scheduled potty breaks and safety checks
- Clean and sanitize kennels and common areas
- Complete nightly tasks including laundry, dishes, deep cleaning, and preparing food bowls
- Document updates in kennel software and communicate clearly with the team
- Maintain a calm, structured, and safe environment

Requirements
- Minimum 1 year overnight work experience_ (must be listed on resume)_
- Weekend and holiday availability
- Strong time management and attention to detail
- Reliable transportation and ability to consistently arrive on time
- Comfort working in a physically demanding and outdoor environment
- Basic technology skills
Previous animal care experience is a plus, but reliability and work ethic matter most.
Physical Requirements
- Lift and handle dogs up to 50 lbs
- Carry 40 lb. buckets of food and water
- Frequent bending, kneeling, and movement
- 10-hour shifts on your feet, indoors and outdoors
- Loud, active environment with barking dogs
